Talk with your own original character — OTHERLIFE

Organize a character’s personality, voice, and background in your own words. You can also read a basic Character Card V2 (2.0) JSON and export the selected settings as game text.

Only the basic name and setting fields are used: name, description, personality, scenario, first_mes, and mes_example. System prompts, greeting extensions, lorebooks, extra data, chat history, and screenshots are not imported. Your source file is not changed.

Edit the name, personality, voice, background, and your character’s starting relationship with you. Specific weaknesses and sample lines help make the character distinct. If this is your first meeting, do not add memories you have not shared.

For an OTHERLIFE settings JSON, edit name and settings only. Keep the format and version keys and values exactly as provided. Save as UTF-8, then load it below to review.

Ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to draft one

Open the copy-ready prompt, replace the “Your preferences” section, and paste it into the AI service you choose. Save the returned JSON as a .json file, then load and review it here. Exporting game text lets you use the settings in the game’s character-creation screen.

If you use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or another external AI service to draft settings, its account, API access, terms, and any charges are separate from OTHERLIFE. This page does not send your settings to that service.

Use the settings in the game

Open Create in the game and choose “Bring in another AI character” → “Choose a settings file.” Select the game settings text you exported.

Choose Import. The game AI organizes the settings; review the name, voice, and other details before creating the character.

The first use requires age and AI-use notices and initial setup. This file does not restore chat history or past memories.

Using AI to organize or continue the character inside OTHERLIFE may use the game’s own AI allowance or paid usage. Check the current terms shown in the app before continuing.

What can be brought over?

This page reads supported settings JSON in your browser. Creator Studio can also import settings JSON into a new draft. You choose whether to save or generate anything. There is no connection to another service account, chat-history restoration, screenshot analysis, or guarantee of the same replies or memories.

Use settings you created yourself or have permission to use. Do not include private information or another person’s chat history.

Try a story before creating a character

A short text story preview with a published original character is available without registering. Age notices and a usage limit apply.

A limited no-registration story preview is currently available in English, Chinese, and Korean. In Spanish, French, or Italian, the preview is shown in English.
